By utilizing charter flights and in-house transfers, we minimize travel time and maximize your immersion in the wild. From the dambos and leopard sightings of the southern Nanzhila region to the legendary “mini-Serengeti” of the Busanga Plains, this itinerary is designed for the traveler who seeks both exclusivity and the raw, untamed essence of the African bush.
Day 1 – 5:
4 nights at Nanzhila Plains Camp in the Southern Kafue
Nestled on the edge of a vast, seasonal dambo in the secluded southern reaches of the Kafue, Nanzhila Plains Camp is a sanctuary of peace and a “place of predators.” This intimate camp serves as the gateway to a region untouched by mass tourism, where the diversity of antelope—including the rare sable and roan—is matched only by the frequent sightings of lion, cheetah, and the elusive wild dog. Whether you are enjoying a sundowner overlooking the waterhole or exploring the miombo woodlands on a guided walk, Nanzhila offers a deeply personal safari experience characterized by authentic hospitality and the thrill of having over 3,000 square kilometers of wilderness almost entirely to yourself.
